5 year partnership signed between Revolution and Sports Prototype Cup
23rd December 2018
The new Sports Prototype Cup has signed a 5 year agreement with Revolution Race Cars. This will guarantee that the all-new car has its own promoted ‘Revolution UK Trophy’ running as a lead promoted category within the Cup.
James Bailey of Sports Prototype Cup said: “The Cup was created to provide ‘races within the race’ for defined classes of sports prototypes. We worked closely with Revolution Race Cars in designing the race format and we were proud to launch the Cup and the car together at Silverstone last month. To go a stage further and commit to a 5 year partnership is an important step. It provides the teams and drivers investing in the Revolution the confidence that it will form the Cup’s lead class, called the Revolution UK Trophy, for a long term period”.
The first round of the Revolution UK Trophy will be on Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit on April 27th with a double-header race.
